Obama administration housing policy has been in the spotlight this past week, as borrowers and investors sorted through an array of well-worn four-letter words (HARP, HAMP, HAFA), and waited for program changes. But plenty of bankers and investors say an overhaul of existing initiatives won’t do the trick.

With that in mind, Laurie Goodman, senior director at Amherst Securities, said she wants to see tangible results. “It’s like my many diets throughout the years: I know exactly what I need to do!” Goodman quipped. “I just choose not to do it.”
